For its fifteenth edition, Play the Games Festival is making one of our long-held dreams come true.
Celebrated artist and cartographer Francesca Baerald will craft a magnificent fantasy map of PLAY.
Francesca is renowned for her works in books, video games, and role-playing games such as D&D, Magic: The Gathering, Gloomhaven, Warhammer, Warcraft, Diablo IV, Horizon Forbidden West, Game of Thrones, and many more.
She collaborates with leading publishers such as Square Enix, Blizzard, Dark Horse, Paizo, Fantasy Flight Games, and Wizards of the Coast.
Born and raised in Modena, Francesca spends her days in her countryside studio, where she draws illustrations and delves into fantasy realms, always on the lookout for new and thrilling projects to undertake!
